Mahasay Dharam pal Gulati is the CEO of MDH and the oldest at the age of 97. His father Mahasay chunni lal Gulati founded MDH in Pakistan before partition. After the partition in 1947, the family moved back in India in a camp in amritsar. Sometime later Gulati and family moved to Delhi and started spice shop in Karol bagh. Gulati rented shop in chandni chowk and bought land to set up MDH factory in Delhi. He was the Highest paid FMCG CEO in India with 25 Crore Salary in 2018. He donates 90 % of his salary to the banner of the Mahasay chunni lal charitable Trust. It operates a hospital in Delhi Along with a mobile hospital for slums and runs 4 school. In 2019 Gulati was honoured with padma Bhushan India third highest civilian award. Thank you for reading our story

He founded the third largest bus company in the world. Raghunandan Saran founded Ashok Motor named after his only son, in 1948. it started with assembling & manufacturing Austin cars. He realised that the market in indian vehicles lay in trucks and buses, to serve the public and not cars that served only a few. Saran was contemplating the manufacture of chassis for motorised public transport and later forged an alliance with British Leyland. British Leyland joined in 1954 then Ashok Motor was renamed as Ashok Leyland and commercial vehicle started to roll out. The coloration ended in 1975. In 1987 the Company was taken over by the join venture between Hinduja Group NRI Group and dial group. In 2007 the Hinduja became 51 % Stakeholder.
